Aside from that, I would love to hear a few hours or so devoted to blocks of bands as well as a DJ for the 6-? period after you leave.
I've probably got a few other requests that don't come to mind right now, but when they do, I'll post 'em.

I lost 3 of my favorite radio voices recently Tom Carnegie, Joe Nuxhall and, a particular morning DJ that has been put out to pasture. I was glad to find a new station that has potential to entertain me (I know that is everyone’s life dream to entertain me). The homophobe and the gay guy are great as well as Sister Karen (although I really don’t think she’s related or a nun). Fin you don’t suck near as bad you used to, keep it up and you could possibly be one of my top entertainers also. Maybe if you gave away midget porn and beer that might help the ratings.

More diversity in the music you play. Sure, it is good to hear different stuff like Cake, Atreyu, Stone sour and others but... I am sure they have more than one song. Play different songs by the same group. Also, throw in some older REAL HARD rock in there. I am not talking about the wuss rock like 92.5 plays but kick ass older stuff. Real classic rock became a classic because it is good. That is the only thing left that would burry the "other" station... well except throwing a hell of a fireworks bash! Let's see how bad they screw that up this year! I don't see how Queer Channel can continue to screw up and stay on the air! That would make the station MUCH better OK.. well, that and a job as a DJ... say from the 6-7PM period!

I totally agree with Rock Hound. I am a HUGE fan of the station as well as my friends. We were all discussing it this weekend and their are so many other great songs by the artists you already play. If I could give a suggestion... Arms of Sorrow and Fixation on the darkness by Killswitch Engage, maybe throw in some Underoath... not all the songs they play are too crazy and Atreyu's loose it... The format so far is great! I love the morning show and the songs that are currently being played. My only suggestion is to play more 80's Hair Bands. You already have some vintage Motley Crue, keep it coming and add more from that genre. As always, Pantera is a good way to go and some old Metallica too. Keep up the good work and keep the rock coming!

I agree with Windycity about more Hair Bands...Love the Crue, but could use some Dokken, Ratt, Scorpions, Tesla, etc...Some bands for us older listeners..(I'm only 39!!) Plus, more talk about the bands, their history, latest CDs, tour plans...etc...Back in the day, radio and MTV were great places to get news about rock bands (Yes, youngsters MTV constantly played videos of Ratt, Motley Crue, Dokken, Warrant, Ozzy, etc...) More features about these bands would be great!!

Personally, I would rather not hear classic rock on 96ROCK. I think the whole Live Loud thing comes with new rock and I don't like having to switch radio stations whenever an older song comes on. I'm fine with the harder rocking classic bands, but please leave the Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Doors to that other station.

hey windycity, that station already exists, it is called webn, duh. you guys keep on doing what you are doing. other avenged sevenfold wouldnt hurt though, almost easy is a nice "radio song" but they are up and coming with some interesting songs and the white stripes, jack white is amazing. peace/war

hey fin thanks for actually reading this stuff thats cool, listen to critical acclaim by avenged, the song is so amazing, unfortuantely it cant be played on the air without taking away the raw emotion, but check it out none the less.
