It has to be the lincoln park tickets this summer. I love the total line up and so does my ten year old son and my husband. I definitely cannot afford those tickets though. I have five kids and my youngest has severe cerebral palsy and requires nursing care. A concert for my husband and I is but a wish at this point. It's too pricey. But man what a good birthday present they would make for me. My bday is AUG 8th. THe big 34! It's alright. I still look younger. :) THanks for asking, Fin.

concert tickets are just about the last thing on my list. ill be attending 0-1 shows at most this year

VAN HALEN SHOW!!!

Since you don't have a blog for concert reviews, I guess I will do it here. Went to the VH show last night. Thanks for the tickets! Seats were pretty bad "at first". We were in section 229 2 rows from the top which put us BEHIND the stage. Back there the sound sucked! After the first song we looked around and found a section dead center and 5 rows from the floor that was empty so we squatted on those seats. Nobody ever showed up to claim them! All I can say is thanks Eddie for the postponed show because this caused enough people to miss the rescheduled date. As for the show... Sure, Dave couldn't hit a lot of the notes he used to BUT his singing was still good and he was one HELL of a showman! He is not nearly as flexible as he used to be so his "over the head" roundhouse kicks would probably hit someone in the belt but hey, he is in his 50's! I thought Eddie nailed a lot of his licks. I thought it curious that he is still wearing a wedding ring. He certainly has not lost his ability to play, only his ability to handle the drugs. I liked the interaction that Eddie and Dave had. After all the media hype about them not getting along it was good to see them act well together on stage. No I didn't expect a huge fight on stage BUT when people genuinely do not like each other, as the media protrayed, it shows. I didn't see that here! My throat is STILL sore from yelling and singing! Imagine what Daves throat is like after a tour schedule! His singing problems can be overlooked. They were small. After all, look at his age. I have seen Van Hagar and they did some of the early stuff at the shows. I really liked the selection of songs that this line up played! They kept the crowd rocking the whole time! The drum solo by Alex was great! He is no Neil Peart but he still kicked ass! The role Wolfgang played was minimal and he filled the void well. You could not tell that he was making mistakes but then his role in singing back up vocals is small and the bass riffs were technically on it. Well, That is just my opinion. But I thought the show was VERY good. The best show I have seen in a while! I would go see them again if they continue to tour. Thanks 96 Rock for the tix!

well, thanks to 96.5 pure rock! i will be going to see seether and flyleaf in concert. won by regestering on you site. guess thats a benifit of bein a rock head! either way, SEETHER FUKIN ROCKS! THANKS GUYS!
