So this blog number 1 of a few billion I would imagine (unless I get fired which is always a possibility)... So I'm the new fish in this pond and I've fielded a lot of questions in the past couple days since I got here and picked out a few of my favs to share with ya

Question #1

Do I do drugs? A very good and legite question and I'd love tell you that I am the next Nikki Sixx and prefer to pass out with needles hanging out my arms and perhaps and OD here and there... but in truth my drug of choice is just the good ole sauce, booze, brewsky's etc.

Question #2

What's your favorite beer then? I'm from St. Louis which is in the ungodly boring state of Missouri so thank God for Budweiser! But I like to incorporate new things with the places I go and I a little birdie told me that the PBR is the can beer of choice here (Thats Pabst Blue Ribbon for those scoring at home). So I've decided to make that my new liquid courage of choice... in the can only of course!

Question #3

Do you have any favorite bands? Yes I do, I'm from the school that says "if it's too loud, then you're too old" I like my music for the most part heavy, bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, Rage Against The Machine, Tool etc. Those are the ones the get me all hot and sweaty

Question #4

When you aren't on the radio what are you doing? I'm about as typical a guy as there is. I'm big into sports, beer, women, music and just having an all around good time wherever I am! Now I can't say I am a Bengals or Reds fan cause that would by lying... St. Louis Cardinals, Blues and Rams are obvious teams I support but I'm a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan (remember St. Louis didn't have football for a while so I migrated north with that Favre guy). You many not agree with my picks but I hear that we all agree on the fact the Chicago Cubs and their fans are pure evil and need to be removed from existence (Wrigley can stay that's a fun place to watch a game)

Question #5

What does Sister Karen look like? This is one of the great mysteries in the universe it seems... everyone want's to know and I have the answer but was told if I were to reveal anything the Angry Guys would stomp my balls and I would be hung on display outside our studio window.... so I'm not saying anything except come see us when we are out on the streets and you can find out for yourself! And don't forget to listen live at all times at purerock96.com! Aight I'm out see ya

Haha I guess it was Sister Karen concerning the PBR. I can no longer drink and she kills me every time she mentions PBR. God I miss that damn beer. Well, I think I'll go cry in my iced tea now. Welcome to Cincy. Please don't become a Bungals fan.

Re: First Blog Post...

Oh great!! Do you have to be a cardinal fan. I'm a life long Cubs fan. Hey, you should be happy they destroyed the other beer makers last night, 19-5. I can't believe you are already whining about Cubs fans. You'll fit right in with all the other cry babies up and down the dial in this town. Much as I hate the Cardinals, I do respect St.Louis as a great baseball town. Cincy is too, but the fans are very fair weather and disloyal. They love their teams when they win and piss and moan when they lose. Let me share my nightmare of a story at Great American...Every time the wimps on another station start bitching about cub fans, I try to call with my story, and of course they don't take my call. I sit on hold for 45 minutes and hear them cry about the evil cub fans and take call after call supporting their view. About 3 years ago, I went to a cubs/reds game with some friends from work. I was wearing my cubs gear and they were wearing their reds gear. I spent the whole time being pelted by peanuts and mustard-covered pretzel pieces. And the kicker, a feminine hygeine product, thankfully not soiled. They only stopped because they kept missing me and hitting the people in front of me. My point, idiots are everywhere. I can't help it that cub fans are passionate and like to cheer. The biggest rise you get from a reds fan is between innings when they give away free hot dogs. Besides, a cub fan would never waste ballpark peanuts like that, and we have better aim too!
